Bachelor in Business Management (BBM)

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Bachelor in Business Management (BBM) programme is created for people who are currently working and interested in furthering their education in the field of Business Management. Its goal is to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge, Islamic and universal values, communication and technical skills for the business world.

The programme will be conducted with an Islamic worldview and hence an Islamic perspective to business management will be stressed in every course. With the increasing imperative of integration between spiritual values and organizational effectiveness, the demand for an executive programme with an Islamic orientation is expected to increase.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The Executive Bachelors in Business Management programme has been restructured to better prepare its graduates for the challenges of the business world. The programme objectives are:

  • To enhance the knowledge of executives in the area of business management
  • To provide broad-based business management knowledge incorporating Islamic worldview and ethics in management
  • To develop Internet and other interactive skills
  • To provide a platform for students to interface and exchange ideas and knowledge in an international setting
  • To enable executives to achieve the above objectives without having to leave their current jobs

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The entry requirements are as follows:
EITHER STPM or GCE ‘A’ Level, with at least three principal passes obtained in one sitting + two years working experience OR University/College Matriculation Certificate/Diploma recognized by IIUM OR SPM, ‘O’ Level, or similarly recognized qualifications, with three credits including English and Mathematics*; and five years of relevant working experience AND must sit for APEL examination (T-6) by MQA (The candidate should be more 21 years of age in the year of application and possess relevant working experiences)

  * MUET Band 3 is required for this programme
